green miyagi:who wrote this?

the ark pump room. pipes tremble like anxious brass instruments. a refurbished pump sits in the center with a hand-lettered note taped to it: please do not yell at the pump, the pump is trying.

echo projects diagnostic data onto a hanging bedsheet. instead of charts, the pump has produced a small poem about pressure, loneliness, and wanting one weekend off.

green miyagi:that's what happens when you make infrastructure listen to humans for too long.

elder:we used to wait for permission.

a line of residents passes tools hand to hand. a wrench, a filter, a sandwich, a tiny flag that says probably safe. the work feels ceremonial and deeply unlicensed.

green miyagi:permission was mostly a locked door wearing a tie.

the pump starts. clean water moves through transparent tubing. everyone cheers too early, then stops when the pump makes a noise like a haunted kazoo.

the first repaired water line points toward a dark food court buried under flood silt. neon letters flicker: municipal ghost kitchen. a rolling gate lifts by itself, politely but ominously.

green miyagi:because corruption gets hungry too.

option A feed the ark first turn the ghost kitchen into community food before investigating its files. option B audit the menu read the kitchen's old procurement data and find out who ordered the disaster.
